LONG ISLAND KGV  9  Special 1916 ½d mauve on thin horizontally laid paper. A very fine mint example with large margins all round. Only 160 examples were printed with 43 remainders ultimately destroyed. Gibbs records only 65 unus £ 550.00

SIERRA LEONE QV  31  Special 1896 (13th May) Cover posted from Freetown to Newport, England, bearing QV 2½d ultramarine (SG 31) showing "2 / WIR" PERFIN - Second West Indian Regiment. Stamp is cancelled with a Freetown cds dated £ 550.00    
TOGO KGV  H46a  Special 1915 KGV 20s purple & black/red. A very fine mint copy showing the SMALL "F" variety. Occurs on position 25,58 & 59 only. This variety was noticed by postal officials at the time and many copies were £ 300.00
